Degree or Certificate Program
Complex Systems Track of PhD in Informatics
- Students are invited to apply for the Complex Systems Track of the PhD in Informatics.
The program, with its unique interdisciplinary values, offers an opportunity to explore the connections among theoretical, technological, and social implications of complex systems in a diverse and multidisciplinary research-oriented curriculum.
The CNetS faculty is also actively supervising students in other relevant PhD programs at IUB including Computer Science, Physics, Biology, and Cognitive Science.
We also offer a dual PhD program in Informatics/Complex Systems and Cognitive Science. Students interested in pursuing this dual degree can also apply to join the doctoral training program in the dynamics of brain-body-environment systems in behavior and cognition. The goal of this program is to train doctoral students to think across traditional levels of analysis in the cognitive, behavioral and brain sciences.
