cycle

In graph theory, a cycle is a 'loop' in the graph. The term cycle is slightly more general than 'loop', as the term loop is often used to refer to a directed graph where the forward flow eventually brings one to a previous state. A cycle in a graph could also mean a source which broadcasts, and those broadcasts connect on the other side of the network
