These problems concern the Sierpiński triangle. The steps in the construction of the Sierpiński triangle are shown below.  At step zero, the shape is an equilateral triangle with sides of length 1.  We will denote the area at step zero by A.  (The value of A is (1/4)\sqrt{3} \approx 0.43, but this value is not needed to answer the questions below.)
