6.6 Wrapup » Final Model Assignment Rubric

Since Peer Reviews auto-hide after the deadlines are passed, I'm pasting in the details of the rubric here for students who examine this later.  First answer is worth 0 points, the second answer is worth 1 point, and the the third answer is worth 2 points.

Question 1

Did the agent-based model adequately address the scope of the model described in the info tab?

There was no description of the scope.

There was a description of the scope, but the model was either smaller or larger than the scope.

The model perfectly matched the scope addressed in the info tab.

Question 2

Did the agents in the model correspond to the agents describe in the info tab?

There was no description of the agents in the info tab.

There was a description of the agents, but the model did not have all of the agent types decribed or had more than the number of agent types described.

The agents were exactly the same as those described in the info tab.

Question 3

Did the agent properties match the agent properties described in the info tab?

There was no description of the agent properties in the info tab.

There was a description of agent properties, but the model had more (or less) properties than those described in the info tab.

The agent properties were exactly as described in the info tab.

Question 4

Did the agent actions match the agent actions described in the info tab.

There was no description of the agent actions in the info tab.

There was a description of agent actions, but the model had more (or less) actions than those described in the info tab.

The agent actions were exactly as described in the info tab.

Question 5

Did the envirnoment of the model match the environment described in the info tab.

There was no description of the environment in the info tab.

There was a description of the environment, but the description was not an adequate description of the environment in the model.

The model environment was exactly as described in the info tab.

Question 6

Did the order of events (with SETUP and GO) of the model match the order of events described in the info tab?

There was no description of the order of events in the info tab.

There was a description of the order of events, but the description was not an adequate description of the order of events in the model.

The model order of events was exactly as described in the info tab.

Question 7

Did the inputs and outputs of the model match the inputs and outputs described in the info tab?

There was no description of the inputs and outputs in the info tab.

There was a description of the input and outputs, but the description was not an adequate description of the inputs and outputs in the model.

The inputs and outputrs were exactly as described in the info tab.

Question 8

Did the model execute without breaking while you were running it?

I could not get the model to run.

The model ran, but occasionally would stop running due to an error.

The model always ran without breaking.

Question 9

Did the user interface follow good design guidlines?  Was the model intuitive and easy to understand?

No, the model was impossible to understand.

Yes, but the model could be changed to make it easier to understand.

Yes, the model was designed very well and the user interface was easy to understand.

Question 10

Was the documentation of the model easy to understand?

There was no documentation of the model.

The model contained some documentation, but considerable work was necessary to make it useful.

The model documentation was adequate.
