OK, well let's fill in our table for that.

We know that at Level 3, down here,

we have one third the length at the previous level for the length of our segments.

So that would be L over 27 (L/27).

We know we have four times the number of segments

since each segment split into four segments, and

that would be sixteen times four, which is sixty-four (16x4=64), and

so our curve length is just the number of segments

times the length of each segment, so we get

sixty-four divided by twenty-seven times L (64/27L).
