So, we have seen how using alorithmic tools, basically, we can operate on motifs, and patterns, and create beautiful music. But why is this music beautiful? And for this, we need to better understand how pitches relate to each other. And how, in this broader framework of the geometry of pitch, this number space of notes and frequencies, what makes a combination sound good, or sound any particular way, according to the underlying structure of our musical space, but also of our perceptions. And we will see this in the next unit.
